Research of Thermal Properties of Hot Water in Masalli District of Azerbaijan

Using a heat pump in low-temperature geothermal waters is an effective way to extract heat for heating, hot water supply and other needs. Low-temperature geothermal sources (up to 30–60 °C) provide an excellent opportunity for the use of heat pumps. A heat pump operates on the principle of extracting heat from low-temperature sources and converting it to a higher temperature suitable for heating. A heat pump system uses a refrigerant that circulates through a closed system, going through several phases:evaporation, compression, condensation and expansion. In the case of geothermal waters, the pump extracts heat from low-temperature water and transfers it to the heating or hot water supply system.
